We were horribly rushed going into DC and managed to get to the concert over half an hour late, but I managed to watch about 45 minutes of Ulrich Schnauss's performance, and took a few shots from my very limited angle of view. It was a great show in that I was priviledged to see one of my most respected musicians playing a few feet away from me, but it was a little disappointing nonetheless in that it was a little shorter than I would have liked.

I did manage to meet him and get a CD signed, which was pretty awesome. He seems like one of those unassuming, really down to earth guys, tending to his own merchandise and enjoying his obscurity. It was pretty in line with what I had imagined, especially considering how laid-back his music is. He was a little taller than I expected, though.
