Went shooting for a while today because I had to head to campus anyway to pick up my yearbook, and it turned out to be one of those days that produced a good number of candidates for posting without any distinct favorite. In other words, most of the pictures didn't suck enough to be outright crap, but nothing was inspiring enough to make this a particularly enthusiastic entry.

I ended up choosing this one because it uses a color range that doesn't typically find its way into my shots. I'm not generally one to appreciate photos of flowers, but the way the sun shone through the trees overhead made me pause long enough to take this shot.
