Today I met with the Chicago Photobloggers for the first time down in Roscoe Village. It was refreshing to meet some people who were even more passionate and knowledgeable about the subject than I, and overall it was a heck lot of fun. I'll be posting a couple of pictures over the next few days from the shoot.
I don't really remember where this was, but the store had a 'hit-by-hurricane' look to it, especially in the lower level. It was the most bizarre, disorganized, and dilapidated assortment of stuff under the sun, ranging from crutches to lawnmowers, a good portion of which was probably broken. The words I'm using to describe it really do it no justice -- suffice it to say that there was a lot of Random Crap. That said, I'm sure there were some good deals to be found, and Bill picked up an old toy camera.
