I get the feeling this is the last of this sort of shot I'll be taking around my apartment complex. It's a beautiful place, but the whole fountain-water-willow tree theme is pretty redundant.
Photography to me is still such an elusive art. I was checking out some websites today of some recognized photographers, and there really is something of a different caliber about the photos that they take. It's as if their pictures have a quintessential soul that is missing from the pictures that I take, elevating it from transient eye candy to timeless beauty. There is such life and emotion in those pictures that conjures a story to mind, and my best work seems mindless and bland in comparison.
I hope I can take those sorts of great pictures someday.
