Mitch, Mike, and I got lunch at this great, authentic Mexican restaurant near Mitch's work today. There was an absolutely adorable baby girl who kept turning around and looking at us, probably because we were the only non-Mexican people there... I took 2 photos, smiled a lot, and was pretty happy that I had done so at the risk of confronting her family.

Photographing kids is interesting. Difficult, because they're so amazingly fast and unpredictable, but easy at the same time, in a way, because their souls are so pure and innocent that there is an almost endless number of ways to capture that essence.

Today was another fun day in the city with good compay and terrific weather. I was a little nervous about photographing because I had been away from my camera since Otakon, but out of the 30-odd shots I got, I managed to find a pretty high ratio of ones I'm very pleased with.
