Cubs lost today, 3-8, against the Reds. I got to take half the day off and go to the game with a few of my co-workers. How cool is my company?

This is my first attempt at making a multi-picture post, so let me know what you think. I've got maybe another picture or two of Wrigley Field, unrelated to the game, that I may put up at a later date.

A friendly father behind me noticed me taking pictures during the game and asked if I would take a picture of him and his daughter, since it was the first time they had been to a ballgame together. I was definitely caught a bit off guard, but being in the role of photographer at that brief moment felt pretty special.

I played a bit more with the macro lens today. It's so. damn. sweet. Photos to come tomorrow, I think.

I think I'm going to start writing more in the space below the photos that probably very few people actually care about. I know that this is mainly for my photography, but I kind of miss keeping a dedicated weblog, or at least the practice in casual prose it affords.
