Ember Swift from the Sona Music Festival last weekend in Madison.

Towards the end of her act I decided to head towards the front of the crowd to take some close up shots. Taking pictures of someone on stage feels a lot easier because I think they expect (and generally wouldn't mind) the attention, and most of the time they act like you're not even there. Much to my surprise, while I was crouching for one of my shots, she kind of leaned forward and looked right into my camera. I can't tell if she's smiling here, but it seems to be a friendly expression. It was my turn to feel in the spotlight!
