North & Damen -- I forget which cafe we were sitting in front of, but we were all drinking the stuff we got from Filter because there were no seats left there.
So far the 4x6"s are in from Walgreens. Glossy, which unfortunately seems to be the only option from the website (though I believe you can get matte in store), on Fujicolor Crystal Archive paper. Even these smaller prints still seem a little soft to me (both the 8x10" and the 4x6"s were uploaded at 300 dpi at different resolutions, so they should be equally sharp unless they did something funky). The black and white photos have a slight yellow cast, and the blues seem to have a bit of a greenish tint. The gamut chart had a very sharp transition between the cyan and the magenta, which I believe indicates poor ability to resolve subtle hues between those ranges. Overall, the images all seem to be a little dark, although the highlights are very white. Not thrilled about their cropping, because the 4x6" images with borders I submitted came out missing a good part of those borders. However, I'd be surprised if anyone did that accurately.
As it turns out, on my Ofoto prints I forgot to turn off the "Kodak Perfect Touch" processing (they made it sound like such a good thing!) which I have a feeling is going to come out like crap. Damn! I will probably reorder them at some point if none of the other prints turn out to be outstanding.
