There were threats of rain throughout the game, but it held out and managed to produce some pretty cool light around sunset. I've been looking for furniture, hi-fi equipment, and planning my new apartment for most of the weekend. My friend Kevin and I auditioned some PSB and Paradigm speakers -- the PSBs impressed the hell out of my personally and lived up to the glowing reviews that seem to exist universally about them.

I'm planning to finally buy a hardware calibration solution when I get back so that this all becomes much more meaningful. I'm in Rochester, NY, for a week-long seminar and I thought I'd use some downtime to get caught up on processing photos from the wedding over Memorial Day weekend.
I wasn't able to get too many shots off since I couldn't move around too much, and lots of them have people's heads in the way. Technically, this is a really bad photo. My flash didn't have time to recharge so everything is incredibly underexposed. I still like how it turned out though. The motion blur lends this nice selective focus (I wish the focus would have been more evenly distributed to the couple) effect that give it a certain drama most of the other vanilla shots I took don't have.
